Fat Loss Basics
Fat loss is all about how much you want it. Your motivation is what drives you to either stick to your goals or let them slip by like failed New Years Resolutions. It doesn’t happen over night but weight loss can happen if you stay the course and make your nutrition work for you rather than against you.
Fat loss is all about the positive you do outweighing the negative. Sure you can have a squeaky clean diet eating nothing but broccoli, rice, and chicken every day but there is a problem with eating in such a manner. It’s dreadful! Weight loss isn’t possible if you dread what you are eating and grow sick and tired of your food.
Leptin is an important hormone that is produced by the fat cells in your body. It controls metabolism, hunger and caloric expenditure. Long durations of weight loss deplete your leptin levels and make fat loss near impossible. When you are able to keep your leptin level elevated fat loss becomes effortless. The trick to keeping your leptin levels as high as possible is listening to your body. Not trying to force weight loss in the short term rather thinking about the long term goal. This means consuming plenty of nutrient dense foods that fit your weight loss macros, but you also need to enjoy what you eat and when necessary take breaks from your aggressive fat loss protocol.
There is no need to fall short in the face of your weight loss goals. You yourself are in control of reaching your goal weight. If you want it enough and are willing to put in the hard work then there is nothing left to stop you. Take control of your body and conquer the basics of fat loss.
