Losing fat doesn’t need to be complicated, however, people often make it a hell of a lot more involved then it needs to be.
What Fat Loss Boils Down To
Basically, every diet and any fat loss program has to abide by math, or calories in versus calories out.
How do you make the math work for you? Easy, you have more calories out than calories in. In other words, you place yourself in a caloric deficit.
Being in a caloric deficit can be accomplished by consuming fewer calories, exercising or any combination of the two.
When you place yourself in a caloric deficit it’s important that your deficit be large enough that it promotes fat loss, however, you want to make sure that you eat food that promotes satiety so the caloric deficit doesn’t feel like you’re starving yourself.
When it comes to exercise you can perform cardio like running, swimming, or cycling, you can resistance train and weight lift, or you can spend your time moonwalking and dancing.
So you ultimately want to be more active to help burn more calories and eat a reduced number of calories so you can place yourself in a caloric deficit. At the end of the day be sure to enjoy the activities you perform and the meals you eat on a regular basis because it will make the overall process more enjoyable and more streamlined with your day-to-day life.
